Truly burned out with my websites and blogs~the internet in general. When I was younger, I knew I did not know when to cut my losses and get out of any endeavor. Especially the marriage! When I started my first website (second or third actually, but this time around) it was a definite attempt to earn a living. The original sites became 4 Freeweb sites, now turned into one site and 3 blogs.

Trading addictions is how I describe me. The all day internet, with breaks for chores and relaxation with a game or forum posts; the other blogs; the surf for page views; all went away. First was my t-shirt shop that I loved; the store too, which was fun. Next the banner ads and trying to earn commissions with Share-a-Sale had to go. Poor Zazzle, never gets any attention anymore. Writing for Associated Content, I explained here on the blog.

The latest addiction was my Barack Obama dot com account and blog. Prior to getting this computer, I wrote incessantly. I also read one book after another. Reading and writing online replaced the offline stuff. AC articles became mostly boring as did the Obama community blog posts. I have lost my manners as well as my patience with the bloggers there.

I picked up a new habit. No more Bunch or Crashdown; do two online newspaper's Sudoku and two crossword puzzles; plus the NY Daily New's Play Four. The off internet Solitaire and Freecell are just as boring. All around burned out. Yet, I try to picture what I will do if I sell the computer. Moving will mean I can no afford the internet, so will be back to the hour at the library. I like the new camera cellphone and being able to quickly post my not so good photos to the site and blogs. I wanted my own computer since the mid 1980s; hard to give it up.
